Terlirel Injection

The drug TerliRel 1mg Injection has terlipressin, which is a synthetic analog of vasopressin that has a strong vasoconstrictor effect on the splanchnic circulation. It is specified in the management of acute bleeding of oesophageal varices in patients with portal hypertension and the treatment of type-1 hepatorenal syndrome in adults with severe liver cirrhosis under the guidance of a hepatology or critical-care specialist. The medication is provided in the form of a 10 ml vial to be used intravenously, exclusively, and under the conditions of constant haemodynamic regulation in a hospital or ICU.
