GARDASIL 9

GARDASIL 9 is a 9-valent HPV vaccine that provides protection against the most common high-risk and low-risk HPV types responsible for cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, vaginal cancer, anal cancer, certain head & neck cancers, and genital warts.
It is widely used for preventing HPV infections in both females and males.

Composition (Per 0.5 mL Dose):

GARDASIL 9 contains recombinant virus-like particles (VLPs) for the following 9 HPV serotypes:

• Type 6 L1

• Type 11 L1

• Type 16 L1

• Type 18 L1

• Type 31 L1

• Type 33 L1

• Type 45 L1

• Type 52 L1

• Type 58 L1

These antigens are produced in Saccharomyces cerevisiae (yeast) using recombinant DNA technology.
